BOOM PLATES
These flat circular discs plug in to normal 110 volt power. When triggered, they emit a loud 90 db BANG like a machine gun!
Louder than the electronic firecrackers, as these have multiple crackers contained inside.
Great for using in props where you want to startle someone, but don't have a lot of room to hide the device.
Also great to use on the floor. Plate also emits a green flash when activated that adds to the startle scare.
Comes with switch/button to activate.
Also works well with aHoudini and PIR Motion Sensor if you want it to activate automatically when guest walks by through the infrared beam.
NOTE: This prop will get hot if left on too long. We recommend shooting it off for less than 8 seconds, and then allowing at least 15 seconds for it to cool down. If left on too long, it can melt and stop working.
Ordered this with the motion sensor, and it works pretty well. I mounted it on the outside of a small storage tote, for ease of moving it around. Has a great pop and startles a lot of people. It will occasionally time itself out and have to be power cycled, before it’ll operate again, which can be annoying.
